Applitools for Selenium IDE is a lightweight plugin that works with the Selenium IDE Chrome Extension. It allows you to incorporate visual UI testing into your Selenium IDE automated test scripts. With SIDE Eyes, you can insert visual checkpoints into your script, capturing baseline screenshots of web pages.

Subsequent runs of the checkpoints will capture new screenshots and compare them to the baseline using Applitools' Visual AI engine. The plugin renders web pages on different browser viewport sizes, on both Chrome and Firefox, using the Visual Grid feature. This makes it easier to identify bugs in responsive web pages.

Applitools' Root Cause Analysis feature shows the CSS or DOM lines that are most likely responsible for visual bugs, saving you valuable debugging time. The Visual AI engine focuses on differences that the human eye can detect, eliminating false alarms caused by minor pixel variations.
